Description

With the success of the Kodiak Chest Holster, the Kodiak Hunter™ was sure to follow. This is the ultimate big bore scoped handgun-hunting rig. The harness was field proven with the Kodiak and the holster does everything the competition cannot do! Designed for an abbreviated draw stroke through its open top, it allows for much faster target acquisition than a typical scabbard holster.

The Kodiak Hunter comes assembled and includes holster, shoulder strap and torso strap.

Made for large framed double/single action hunting revolvers and single-shot Thompson/Center guns, the Kodiak Hunter is available in havana brown.

Kodiak Holster Worth Every Penny!
This is my first Galco holster and I LOVE it! I originally had an inexpensive nylon snap-over chest holster for my scoped S&W 500. While moose hunting in Maine it fell out of the holster several times risking damage or throwing off the scope's zero. Afterwards, I found the Galco Kodiak Chest Holster on-line and was absolutely amazed at the quality of materials and workmanship when it arrived. It holds the pistol snugly while still allowing for a smooth draw. In light of my investment in my firearm, I wish I had purchased this quality holster sooner. Highly recommended! Well done Galco team!

Kodiak Hunter Chest Holster
This is my second Galco chest holster. They are expensive but both are very well made. The Kodiak Hunter secures my Encore 44 Rem Mag tightly to my chest and adjusts quickly for shedding layers of clothing. I Also bought the bandolier for this holster and would recommend both, although it wasn’t necessarily designed for the Kodiak Hunter Model I like having the 5 additional rounds handy when needed.
