PHOENIX, Spring 2009

Galco is excited to announce the creation of a special double gun rig designed in conjunction with the National Rifle Association and Ruger Firearms. The Friends of NRA Gun of the Year Double Gun Rig will showcase the NRA’s matching 5 ½” Ruger Vaquero Guns of the Year at the 2009 NRA Annual Meeting in Phoenix.

The twin high ride holsters are constructed of full-grain saddle leather in natural color with a light oil finish. A smooth leather lining helps protect the finish on the collectible revolvers, while embossed “3-D” Ruger eagles adorn both holsters.

The matching money-style belt is an ivory chaps leather with .45-caliber cartridge loops and a third embossed Ruger eagle logo at the back. Nickel-plated solid brass hardware rounds out this beautiful, best-quality holster rig.

Reproductions of the double gun rig will be available through Ruger on a limited basis throughout 2009.
