Description

Take back the night with Galco’s Halo™! Designed to comfortably carry a pistol equipped with a weaponlight, the Halo remains compact enough for realistic concealment of a light-equipped pistol.

Most real-world use of pistols – whether by law enforcement officers or lawfully armed citizens – occurs in hours of low light. Plainclothes officers and civilians who prefer to equip their pistols with a weaponlight need a holster that is compact enough to conceal, yet fast and fumble-free to draw.

Enter the Halo. The Halo’s vertical orientation allows a smooth draw without cocking the wrist, while its thumb-break retention strap combines positive control of the pistol with a fast and efficient draw. Riding high and close to the body, the Halo also offers excellent concealment of the large pistols that are typically equipped with weaponlights.

With Galco’s Halo at your side, you own the night.

The Halo is constructed of premium steerhide, fits belts up to 1 3/4” wide, and is made for semiautomatic pistols and is available in right hand designs, in black.

Must Have High Quality
After having a Halo for my Glock 17 with Surefire X300 for about ten years, I had to get one for my new Glock 19 with Surefire X300 Ultra. My old one looks almost brand new and I did very little to maintain it. I carried it on my belt for several years and it worked very well, but now I use a kydex holster. Why did I get a new Halo when I usually carry a kydex holster? When my Glock isn't on my belt, it’s in my Galco Halo, and it’s chambered. I sleep with it, sit on couch with it, walk around the house with it, or put it in a large pocket. For these applications, kydex is not desirable. And if my kydex holster or belt loops break, it is plastic, I got a top quality leather back up that will probably last for generations.

Leather rules
Took a minute to get it, but it's exactly what I thought it would be. I didn't fight with the leather to get my P226 with TLR-1 to fit. I spent a few minutes over three days holstering and unholstering to get the depth to the point the retention strap would snap together. I do recommend following the directions and twisting the strap. Once together I stood it upright and let gravity work. It's a perfect fit. This is a great product.
