1. Full size pistol: system mag carrier will not accommodate extra-capacity or extended
magazines. To assemble a system for extended magazines, please purchase extended mag carrier or horizontal mag carrier as separate components.
2. Compact/subcompact pistol: if a full size version of your pistol is available, the mag
carrier will generally also accommodate magazines from the full-sized pistol.
3. Please contact Galco customer service for further clarification as needed.

May not properly accommodate magazines with exterior sleeves, as the baseplates will

Description

The Original Jackass Rig™ was reintroduced for Galco International’s 30th Anniversary. Galco’s predecessor, "The Famous Jackass Leather Company," first introduced this shoulder system in 1970. It features a horizontal holster that can be adjusted to a more diagonal carry position than our Miami Classic or MCII, attaching to the harness with our swivel connectors.

The ammo carrier has a streamlined yet secure design, while the Premium Center Cut Steerhide™ harness provides unparalleled concealment opportunities, greater adjustment and comfort. All four points of the center cut steerhide harness can pivot independently and are connected by our unique clover-shaped Flexalon™ swivel back plate, which is a Galco trademark.

The Jackass Rig includes holster, harness, ammo carrier and a set of harness fasteners. The Jackass Rig is fully modular. Optional accessories and components may be purchased separately, including commonly-used items like tie-downs.

Made for semiautomatic pistols, the two-tone Jackass Rig is available in right and left hand draw in black holster/ammo carrier finish and contrasting tan harness.

Harness fits chests to 56".

Fit me like a glove right out of the box
I needed a holster to wear around my house and around my property. I am 6' 1", 225 lbs with a 40" waist. The IWB holsters always cut into my aging belly when I sit down, even with a smaller Glock 43! I ended up selecting the Jackass over the Miami because of the extra tilt angle. My H&K USP Compact 9 almost becomes invisible even when exposed. The tan colored straps look like some type of suspenders and the black holster and magazine pouch disappear into the shadow of my underarms. The adjustable tilt angle gets the A+ for concealment and makes for a quick draw. The adjustable tension screws are great! You can set the screws for just the right tension so that your stuff doesn't fall out during snap release. I wore it all day on my first day and had zero fatigue. Perfect balance and wide straps reduce the pressure area. In the summer you can wear it under a loose fitting button down shirt with total concealment. I have been looking for a holster like this for a very long time and I'm sure glad I found this one. Spend the money. Don't compromise. You won't be sorry. Christmas came early for me!

Jackass rig
I have had my rig since 1975 when I was in vice/narcotics. It is still going strong today. I know the history of this company and the quality of their products. They stand behind every piece of equipment they produce and that is why I buy from them
