The Single Action Outdoorsman holster is great for field carry whether hunting or for peace of mind in bear country.
The SAO™ can be worn strong side or crossdraw at the user’s discretion. The holster employs a retention strap for simplicity and security in the brush. Tension screw adjustments allow for a custom fit to your revolver.
Constructed of premium steerhide, the SAO fits belts up to 1 3/4".
Made for single-action revolvers, the Single Action Outdoorsman is available in right and left hand designs in tan.

Excellent fit and finish
Bought this holster as a "field carry" crossdraw holster for my Ruger BlackHawk .357. The holster fits perfectly, the strap holds the gun securely when climbing banks, crossing fences, etc, and it's easy to draw. Galco gunleather has never disappointed me yet.

i have purchased other Galco holsters before and this one like the others is a perfect fit for my new Ruger single six 22 LR/22 WMRF revolver very good high quality craftsmanship!
