Description
Compact, concealable, secure and versatile, the open-muzzle design of the Silhouette™ makes it a favorite of gun carriers who own multiple barrel lengths of the same firearm model.

Hand-molded to fit specific handgun frames, the Silhouette features a reinforced thumb break for security, firing grip accessibility for speed, double-stitched seams for durability, and covered trigger for safety. The retention strap configuration is specific to individual firearms types, and varies depending on firearm model. The high riding Silhouette holster is constructed of premium steerhide and is made to fit belts up to 1 3/4".

Its unique two-piece construction is contoured on the body side to the natural curve of the hip, keeping all the molding on the front of the holster, allowing for significantly more comfortable carry and a narrower profile than an ordinary pancake type holster. Made for semiautomatic pistols and double-action revolvers, the Silhouette is available in right or left hand designs in tan or black finish.

High ride holster
Beautiful holster ,much nicer than I expected, looks to good to use. May just put it on display with my revolver with hand made drips.

Kahr PM9
Carried my Kahr PM9 IWB, got tired of buying my Levi's a size larger to accommodate the handgun. Wondered if I could find a OWB holster that would fit that PM9 close to the body and give the concealability that the IWB gave me. Took a look at the Galco site for two reasons:

Found their SILHQUETTE HIGH RIDE HOLSTER, and thought I would take the chance. Received my holster today, took it out of the packaging, and slid in the PM9. A very tight fit, so tight I had a hard time getting the gun out of the holster, and I thought oh-oh. Grabbed the Thumb Break and tried to snap it shut, was not even close to being able to do that. Again I thought oh-oh !
Its a flaw in my character I guess, I never read the directions. As I was sitting there thinking "this is going back", the idea came to me ... go look for the directions.
I did, read them through, did what it told me to do and now my PM9 is snug in the holster and the Thumb Break is snapped.
This holster rides high on my belt, fits tight to the hip, and conceals as well as I hoped it would. I do believe I could get away with wearing a loose fitting T-Shirt, and not "print" too bad.
This will be my holster for those long motorcycle trips ..... Thanks Galco, it's rare to purchase anything anymore that actually lives up to expectations !

I had a difficult time figuring out which holster would fit my grandfather's S&W Chief of Police service revolver as it has a 5 inch barrel. The customer service guy was a big help. He also helped me determine that the retention strap could stretch far enough to snap. The holster fits the gun perfectly and it has been my EDC since I purchased it. I love the holster and that I can carry this almost 100 year old gun that my grandfather carried.
