Description
The renowned Yaqui Slide was ushered into the modern era of holster design in 1992 when Galco achieved yet another industry first: adding a set of independent tension screw adjustments, allowing for a custom fit to the firearm and micro-adjustment of the draw stroke.The minimalist design and near-vertical carry angle make the Yaqui Slide very fast to draw from, while securing the firearm during everyday activity. The belt channel on most Yaquis has a circular cut-out for placement on the pant loop to prevent shifting of the holster.
The open-muzzle Yaqui design is a favorite of those who own multiple barrel lengths of the same gun model. Constructed of premium steerhide, the Yaqui Slide fits belts up to 1 3/4".
Made for semiautomatic pistols, the Yaqui Slide is made in right or left hand designs and is available in tan or black finish.

yaqui holster
tough to break in, but be patient. follow the instructions for break-in and you'll be in good shape. once broke in, the holster retention is great whilst allowing for a very rapid draw. I have 2, one for a 1911 and the other for a BHP, which required less break-in effort than the 1911. worth the money, my first range holster was a galco and I still wear it to this day as an RO. these are holsters you'll no doubt be passing down to another generation. well made.

This is a great holster,it fits my Kimber 1911's perfectly.The leather is premium steerhide and finished beautifully.I have used Galco Holsters and Belts for years without any problems whatsoever.Great design on this one!

Durability
Every Galco product I have ever purchased was top quality and the Yaqui Slide is no different.They take a while to break in.
If you are serious about your gear, you cannot go wrong with Galco.
