Description
Model 1880s™ is the holster for the single action shooter on the budget of the working cowboy. It is reminiscent of the rigs worn in American Westerns in the 1950’s and 60’s. The holster is high-ride and is now available for both a strong side draw and cross draw. It is constructed of premium full-grain natural tan steerhide.

The premium, full grain steerhide of the holster, belt billets and cartridge loops is “natural,” best described as a very light version of Galco’s traditional “tan” color. The Premium Center Cut Steerhide of the belt body is a much darker natural color, giving the rig a tone-on-tone or two-tone appearance.

Fits belts up to 3" wide.

Another awesome piece of leather from Galco. The 1880s rig has been on my list of wants for a very long time. I have carried guns for many years, a bunch while on the job in the military and as a police officer. I have preferred a crossdraw holster for many years. While in a vehicle and you need immediate access to your handgun it is a lot easier to bring it to bear. Also, when carrying a longgun in a sling on your strong side it can become a problem with dings, etc. This Holster meets my desire 100% and I am a very happy camper. No horseback riding for me , but my Pioneer gets me where I want to go. I'm certain this rig will be on the tractor this spring.
