Description

Combining some of the best features of the perennially popular Ankle Glove™ and the ultra-modern BlakGuard™ belt holster, the Ankle Guard is a huge step forward in ankle carry. An adjustable internal retention device secures the handgun at the trigger guard. The Ankle Guard’s "trench" style sight rail easily accommodates virtually all iron sights, and this generously-beveled sight rail also allows a smooth and easy return to the holster. The front of the Ankle Guard is cut low and even allows use of most carry-style optical sights.

The Ankle Guard’s neoprene ankle cuff is padded with genuine sheepskin and secured with hook-and-loop closure. A slot in the holster body allows attachment of the optional Ankle Calf Strap. The cuff fits ankles up to 13” in circumference.

New Twist on an Old Favorite
I have been carrying my Glock 26 in an Ankle Glove by Galco for around 10 years at this point and after my most recent one was wearing out I decided to order this as it was on a promo to see how it would compare. The strap and thumb break being gone have, surprisingly, made it more concealable. I feel like the small lines you can see on your pants are nearly invisible with this holster even more than they already were. I was slightly worried about the retention of this holster when I saw it online but I can promise it is nearly impossible to get it out of the holster if it isn't strapped to your leg. Very comfortable as expected with my other Galco ankle holster and I would expect to get the same 4-5 years out of this as I got out of my ankle glove. Great work Galco and thank you for constantly innovating when it comes to concealing firearms!
