Description
The Avenger combines all the desirable features of a truly practical belt holster.

Full firing grip accessibility allows an instant shooting grip, the molded sight rail prevent snags on the draw, and the reinforced holster opening provides easy one-handed return to holster. The vertical orientation allows the fastest, wrist-locked draw stroke. The tension unit makes micro-adjustment of the draw stroke simple. The Avenger is constructed of premium steerhide and fits belts up to 1 3/4" wide.

The Avenger is made for semiautomatic pistols and is available in right or left hand designs, in tan or black.

Finally an open carry holster that doesn't sag
I have many carry guns based on where I'm going and how concealed I wish to be. I live in Texas and don't have to conceal in most places. Open Carry holsters invite me to carry a larger 1911 frame gun. I don't use larger than a 9 mm when I'm concealing because you get get them thinner and lighter. The Avenger is the first holster I've tried (and I have several) that will hold my 1911 without it hanging away from my hip, or sagging my belt. My Kimber .45 Auto CDP while a smaller .45 is not light and it stays straight up and down. I really like the carry position and can see why this model is such a favorite. Great Holster. It also looks intimidating with the .45 hammer back and not strapped. One of my purposes for open carry is to encourage peaceful and courteous behavior. It says: "Lets all be nice"

Great fit, strong holster
Received the holster is timely and good condition. Fit my pistol very well, comfortable on belt and distributed gun weight well. Strong solid leather with hi quality stitching. Total quality.
