AVENGER BELT HOLSTER

I had to give up on appendix carry due to health reason and spent quite a bit of time searching for a leather OWB holster for my Springfield Armory EMP4. After seeing the Avenger holster on their website I started researching it by watching YouTube videos and reading forums. As with any review on the internet, I take them with a grain of salt. I liked the way the holster looked and the comments people were making about the quality of the leather. I also like the way it is almost a neural cant (just a very slight forward cant) and that is the way I am most comfortable drawing from. I could not find a listing for the EMP4 on the drop down menu, but there was a 1911 4" selection. I emailed customer service and received a very quick response that told me the 1911 4" Avenger holster should work. So I ordered it. When it arrived all of the comments about the quality of the leather holster did not do it justice. Outstanding workmanship and the holster fit perfect! It was very tight, as expected, and has loosened up to where the retention when I am wearing it is perfect for me. The more I wear it, the more comfortable it gets. Would I recommend it? You bet I would and if you are looking for a leather holster that should last a very long time, the Galco Avenger holster should be what you need. Great job Galco!

I just got this holster for my Sig Sauer 1911 Professional Carry (identical size​ as Colt Commander). It fits perfectly. The quality of workmanship is excellent, as I have come to expect from Galco. I use it daily and the more I wear it the better it feels. I would recommend it to a friend for sure.
