Description
The Avenger combines all the desirable features of a truly practical belt holster.

Full firing grip accessibility allows an instant shooting grip, the molded sight rail prevent snags on the draw, and the reinforced holster opening provides easy one-handed return to holster. The vertical orientation allows the fastest, wrist-locked draw stroke. The tension unit makes micro-adjustment of the draw stroke simple. The Avenger is constructed of premium steerhide and fits belts up to 1 3/4" wide.

The Avenger is made for semiautomatic pistols and is available in right or left hand designs, in tan or black.

I have used the GALCO Avenger Style Holster for a long time. I like the way it rides close to your body for concealment. I use this holster each and every day to work and if necessary off duty. I have this type of holster for my Wilson CQB 1911, Kimber 1911, Sig Sauer P220, and Glock 17.

Perfect...
Ordered an Avenger for my 1911. Fit is perfect as always. Craftsmanship is superb...as expected from Galco.

I have a normal 1911...no rails or straps or wazoos...if you have those abnormalities on your gun then you will need a different holster.

Fit is supposed to be tight at first. Good holsters wear in over time and thousands of draws...

I wear this Galco every day all day. It is comfortable and very well made...again...as expected.

Avenger Holster
I have the Galco Avenger holster for a 3 inch Kimber. The holster is just like all Galco holsters it is of high quality. I have been carrying mine for over 7 years now its comfortable easy to conceal and stays in place. The above review said its not practical and is to tight. As with any leather product you have to break it in. It also has a tension screw so you can adjust the tension to your preferences. After you break it in you will be happy with it and the break in is not complicated. It will become like a glove to your firearm. Thanks Galco for another great holster.
