BELT E-Z LOADER CARRIER

Not very useful. The carrier is too small to fit two speed loaders but so big that one just rattles around. I was expecting better for the very expensive price. I have purchased many Galco holsters over the years and have been very pleased. This carrier was a disappointment.

Thanks for the review, Bob. We'd like to just clarify a couple of points about this product.

It's not designed or intended to carry two cartridge strips (and definitely not speedloaders). This is clear in the multiple images we show in the product detail, as well as our use of the singular "one E-Z Loader" in the copy.

As for it being "loose," we make it in two sizes to carry either 38/357 or 44/45 revolver cartridges. These cartridge families vary slightly in size, even somewhat depending on the bullet weight chosen, and of course many people will use both Specials and Magnums in the carrier.

Our customer service folks reached out to you and learned you're using 44 Specials (excellent cartridge!) rather than the far more common 44 Magnum. The reduced length of the 44 Special will obviously take up slightly less space in the carrier. We think this is a fair trade for allowing the use of both Specials and Magnums in the same carrier.

Also be aware that if we made the belt carrier too tight, it would pull rounds out of the cartridge strip as it's drawn, which is obviously not a good thing.

I am one of those people who conceal carry a full-size revolver as my primary firearm daily. I used to carry a spare speed strip in my strong-side pocket, but it would often compete for space with my pocket knife, making retrieval awkward—especially with smaller pockets.

Before switching to speed strips, I tried carrying speed loaders, but I found them extremely inconvenient due to their bulk, especially when conceal carrying. The added size made them difficult to carry comfortably without printing.

What I like about the Galco E-Z Loader Carrier is that I can snap it on and off my belt just like the Galco Summer Comfort holster I use, without having to undo the belt, which is incredibly convenient. It stays close to the body, conceals well, and doesn’t print.

I’ve been using it every day, and I highly recommend it to anyone who carries a revolver and wants a more accessible way to carry spare ammo.

I bought a Speed Strip carrier from Galco rep Mike st the Revolver Roundup. I used it for 3 days with various sizes of Speed Strips. It worked Great.
