Description

A premium example of Galco's outdoor-carry options, the Big Iron™ is a luxurious yet highly efficient way to carry a large revolver in the field.

Featuring premium steerhide construction, the smooth leather lining is gentle on the handgun and enhances the feel of the draw. The snapping flap protects and secures the revolver, and is easily released using the glove-friendly polymer tab.

Packaged with a polymer belt slot that’s adjustable for belt width, a Belt Drop is also available as an option. It can increase the speed of the draw, sit clear of equipment ranging from rain gear to body armor, ride below a backpack’s waist straps, and make the draw easier for short-waisted and/or female shooters. The Big Iron's leg thong is particularly useful when used in combination with the Belt Drop.

Exactly what I hoped it would be!
I purchased the Big Iron Belt Holster for my S&W 357. Fits beautifully and is a wonderfully high quality holster!

I mistakenly ordered the wrong Big Iron Belt Holster and when I notified Galco of my bone head mistake, they were very accommodating and set up a return authorization. After they received the returned holster, I was told they were in the process of making additional holsters and there would be a short delay. The delay was indeed short and I received the Holster and Big Iron Belt on 11/03/2023. It fits my Anaconda .44 MAG Perfectly. The quality of the Holster is second to none. I have numerous Galco products and without a doubt, they will continue to be my first choice for product purchase in the future.
