Description

The Concealable™ holster is one of Galco’s most recognizable and innovative belt holsters.

In the early 1970s, Galco founder Richard Gallagher made a major improvement on the basic pancake holster design when he invented forward molding. The Concealable was the first holster to use his innovative construction method. Its unique two-piece construction is contoured on the body side to the natural curve of the hip, keeping all the molding on the front of the holster, allowing for significantly more comfortable carry and a narrower profile than an ordinary pancake type holster. Hand-molded to fit specific handguns, the Concealable features a deeply hand-molded exterior for excellent retention properties and superior appearance, firing grip accessibility for speed, double-stitched seams for durability, and covered trigger guard for safety. The Concealable is constructed of premium steerhide and made to fit belts up to 1 1/2".

Made for both semiautomatic pistols and double-action revolvers, the Concealable is available in right or left hand designs in black or havana brown finish.

What I was looking for @ a sale price
I liked the narrow width taking up minimal belt / body circumference. Initially the gun fit was very tight but after applying Galco's patented lunch bag / 'saran wrap' technique it loosened up just enough overnight. As far as conceal carry position, the minimal contour printing allows the gun butt to snug right up.

Great Holster
This is the second Concealable Belt Holster that I have bought over the years. The first was for a Glock 17, the second for a Govt. Model 1911. They were bought about a decade apart and both are great holsters. Nice and firm, minimum break-in time required. I always referred to this style of holster as a "pancake" holster. The contour of the holster really makes a difference. I've bought seven Galco products over the last two decades, all of them still in use.
