Description

With the success of the Kodiak Chest Holster, the Kodiak Hunter™ was sure to follow. This is the ultimate big bore scoped handgun-hunting rig. The harness was field proven with the Kodiak and the holster does everything the competition cannot do! Designed for an abbreviated draw stroke through its open top, it allows for much faster target acquisition than a typical scabbard holster.

The Kodiak Hunter comes assembled and includes holster, shoulder strap and torso strap.

Made for large framed double/single action hunting revolvers and single-shot Thompson/Center guns, the Kodiak Hunter is available in havana brown.

Kodiak Hunter for 500 S&W
I have had this holster since August 2023 and couldn't be happier with it. The quality of the leather and stitching is amazing and beautiful. Once it is adjusted for your fit then putting this on only takes about 5 - 10 seconds, one of the easiest holsters to put on and ready to go that I have had. This holster fits my 500 S&W revolver with a Burris scope like a glove and no worries about its security. If you are going to carry your 500 I highly recommend this holster. There are less expensive holsters out there but this one is worth every penny! If you have spent the money for a quality handgun then put it in a 1st class holster like this one to take care of it. Love this holster!
