Length is heel to toe:
X-SM - 4 13/16" length and 1 7/16" width

Caution: do not store gun with recoil pad attached.
Description
Galco's Recoil Pad slips snugly over the butt of your gun and is held in place with an overlapping hook-and-loop fastener. It is constructed of dark havana leather and a 1/2" thick shock absorbing gel, which reduces felt recoil up to 50%.

It is available in the following sizes:

Awesome recoil pad. It’s actually my second purchase. Medium for my OU shotguns and extra large for my auto loaders. I use the recoil pad to give my shotguns just a little extra length so that my right eye is perfectly level with the top of the barrel. It makes a big difference in my accuracy. Great product. I was showing it several people yesterday at the range and passed on the website info.

Excellent Recoil Pad
Have 2 sizes of pads for BPCR's, calibers of 45 & 50 of 80 & 90 gn pdr. & 500 gn bullets. On different occasions was able to fire 30 rds. each from bench w/ no pain (altho eye balls did seemed loose). They are of reasonable thickness, attach well and have minimal effect on LOP. And on a wood stock they blend in well.

Nice addition
I bought this as an add on to my Remington 1100 after shooting skeet for the first time in over 25 years. Looks good, fits well. Adds a little to the length, and adds a bit of recoil cushioning. Pricey, but the nicest option I came across after several sessions of looking on line. I found a lot of nice Galco accessories I didn't know they made. Always well crafted items ( I own 5 shoulder systems and several other belt holsters!)
