The Raven is the totem of Gunsite Academy, founded by the late Colonel Jeff Cooper in 1976. The solid brass Gunsite Raven Buckle is investment cast in our in-house foundry and features an antiqued-black Raven symbol embossed on a polished brass background. The buckle’s unique post-style attachment allows it to lie flat. Traditional mechanical or plate buckles require the leather strap to wrap around the buckle attachment point, creating three belt layers when worn – versus only two layers with this design.
The sturdy leather belt strap is constructed of two layers of steerhide with double rows of stitching. Seven holes spaced 1" apart allow a broad range of fit and adjustment.
Available in black or tan with solid brass buckle.
