I use shoulder holsters, but I use this belt. It is the best quality & will last decades. & will last for y
I have lot of my father's old western wear belts that are 70 years old and still in excellent to very good condition, but I am to fat for them to fit me. I bought a belt at a Wally World Mart and the buckle fell apart within 10 minutes. NO MORE! Cry once, buy once! I got a fancy stitched holster belt as a gift, and this is what I sticking with. I bought more Galco belts. No more of this fake or reconstituted leather garbage from department stores and big box stores like fall apart Walmart. I like the 1-3/4 belt for dungarees, and the 1-1/2 for slacks. Yeah, black & tan sets you back $600 but that cheap stuff looks all stretched out & awful inside of a year or two, if it doesn't fall apart in 5 minutes. I hate returning stuff. I don't much like clothes shopping anyway, and these belts will last 75 years with proper use and care. They will look great for 20+ years with proper use, cleaning and care. Let's see, $15-$20 every 1-2 years for Walmart/Target junk or $150 for 20 years of good looks & great function. Yeah, you are actually saving money buying this. Don't forget your gasoline and time invested. So heck you are even helping to save the planet too, or at least that is what the lefties like to think. And remember to just say "NO" to Vegan leather. The cow or horse your fine Galco belt was made from will fart no more anyway. It seems like a win win for everyone, especially me.
