Less bulky
I bought it to replace the speed loader carrier for weight and bulk reduction. I was thinking mostly for summer use but find I prefer it to the speed loader carrier at all times.

Offside tie down
This replaces the double magazine holders that I don't want to carry. It is of high quality and works great for me.
