Have several of these for different platforms. This one was a replacement for my everyday platform. The original wore out after ten years of use. Very happy with the product and customer support.

I was skeptical I would find an IWB holster for my Smith & Wesson 686+ 3 inch .357 revolver, but I thought I would give it a try. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Yes, the 686+ .357 is a hefty revolver to carry, but this holster made it a joy. I was concerned about it riding too high and being bulky or riding too low and being uncomfortable at the belt, but this holster struck a happy medium and was the perfect placement for me. The holster was tight at first as it is with all Galco leather, but it very quickly and easily broke in for a perfect fit. I often prefer carrying my .357 with this holster over my .45 M&P Shield or Glock 26 with their Kydex now, and it actually conceals better.

My standard for IWB holsters with big automatics is the MS holster that has carried my 1911 for 30 years and appears ready for another 30 with my heirs. The Galco version does not have a metal frame around the opening, which is helpful with large, blocky autos like the Glock 21 I bought it for. It might also benefit from the additional flat leather that the MS has to help minimise the profile. That said, the holster is EXCELLENT and very good value (costing less than half the MS). Galco's advice about sizing the holster to the gun was spot on if, as my said, a bit weird. It carries the G21 very well, very concealed. The workmanship is rugged and heavier than the MS, which is a good thing I imagine. I would have preferred it in tan or brown, but I guess so does everyone else. The black is very even and deep. I expect this holster will serve until I can no longer carry a big auto! Very pleased and definitely a new, long term customer for Galco.
