Recently I purchased the V-Hawk IWB Holster and Kingtuk/V-Hawk Holster Turnbuckle Metal Clips and I could not be happier with my purchase! I use this holster to carry my Colt 1911 Commander 4.25". Prior to ordering this holster I was always wearing a "light jacket" to keep my holster/handgun concealed because people throw such a God awful hissy fit if they see you carrying a gun. The hard part was in the summer time you look like a sore thumb sticking out no matter how "light" the jacket is. I am excited to use this during the summer. With this holster I can easily pull my shirt over my Colt and no one is the wiser. It works so well that when I first put it on my wife and daughter were puzzled that I was going out without my Colt. They were shocked how well concealed it was and they know what to look for if someone is carrying. The last several times I have gone out I haven't had the need for a jacket. I have worn a lot of holsters in my 20 years on the job and I have to say, so far, this has been one of the best holsters I have used. The V-Hawk IWB Holster is: comfortable, well concealed, and holds my Colt in place with no worry of it coming out of the holster. Great holster. The weight from my weapon's weight is evenly distributed thus reducing fatigue and makes it very comfortable to wear for many hours. Retention of the weapon is great and stays secure during various physical exercises. Great choice.

It's a nice holster. I have two other Galco IWB MOB's also, that I used for years and still can. I switched to an expensive vented backing Kydex holster that only lasted one and a half years before the material was destroyed and the Kydex had broken out around one of the screws. Couldn't get anyone from that company to return a call. I followed the break-in instructions and no problems. It is a little tight after 3 weeks but I expect that to continue to improve. I carry everyday. No problems with collapse when the pistol is not in it.The opening is quite stiff. It rides a little higher than the Kydex holster did but I haven't had any problems with printing with an untucked, unbuttoned shirt. The leather appears well-made. I don't expect I will be replacing this holster in a year and a half or for a very long time. Carrying with the leather loops and have not had problems with the snaps coming undone. It may seem a little expensive but the Kydex holster was $100 and now I have replaced it. It will be worth the slightly additional price for a quality holster with a life in it. I will definitely recommend to my friends looking for a concealed holster.
