1. Full size pistol: system mag carrier will not accommodate extra-capacity or extended
magazines. To assemble a system for extended magazines, please purchase holster, harness and extended mag carrier or horizontal mag carrier as separate components.
2. Compact/subcompact pistol: if a full size version of your pistol is available, the mag
carrier will generally also accommodate magazines from the full-sized pistol.
3. Please contact Galco customer service for further clarification as needed.

May not properly accommodate magazines with exterior sleeves, as the baseplates will

Description

Galco’s original VHS™ (Vertical Holster System) was field-proven across the globe from Afghanistan to America. Thousands were used by US military personnel fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Countless others are in use by US and international law enforcement, being particularly popular among police helicopter pilots. The VHS also provides an alternative for those who want the concealment of Galco’s Miami Classic but prefer the traditional vertical carry style.

Now, after over a decade of experience with the VHS, Galco has improved it further. The VHS 4.0™ brings a reshaping/redesign of the harness straps, replacement of harness screws with a key-hole harness fastener attachment, and the addition of an innovative new tie-down system.

A key component of the VHS 4.0 shoulder system is its spider harness. All four points of the spider harness can pivot independently and are connected by our clover-shaped, trademarked Flexalon™ swivel back plate. This, along with our patented swivel connectors, results in a perfect fit and lasting comfort for virtually all body sizes and shapes.

The 2.5" wide harness straps on the VHS 4.0 have been recontoured to enhance both comfort and concealment. The VHS 4.0 also features Galco’s improved key-hole harness fastener system that replaces the earlier screw-and-post system, resulting in greater security, ease of assembly, and greatly reduced chance of fastener loss.

The VHS 4.0 also introduces a new tie-down system that is simple to use, compact and concealable, and fully ambidextrous.

The VHS 4.0 comes complete with vertical holster, harness, ammo carrier, tie-downs and a set of harness fasteners. Fully modular, optional accessories and components for the VHS 4.0 may be purchased separately.

Craftsmanship at its finest.
Bought this holster for a Smith and Wesson 629 Classic. I've never worn a more comfortable shoulder rig in my life,it totally changed my opinion on shoulder holsters! The holster itself fit like a glove and I had no break-in period. The harness was super easy to assemble and the ammo pockets fit my speed loaders like a charm. This is made with top grade leather and the stitching is beautiful. I fully expect this holster will hold up for my lifetime and possibly my Sons when it gets handed down to him. What can I say? I highly recommend Galco,they're a first rate company and a leader in the industry for a reason!

Best shoulder rig ever!
I have tried other shoulder rigs before but the Galco VHS is by far the most comfortable and best quality rig of them all! You always have to worry about weight distribution with a shoulder rig. The design on the VHS is so good that it eliminates all of the typical wear problems you would normally experience. I love my new shoulder holster!

You won't go wrong with this one!
This shoulder holster rig is by far the best out there! My Dan Wesson .357 with 4" barrel fits perfectly!! Like virtually all Galco holsters, you don't even know you're wearing one until you take it off.
