Description
The Galco Waistband™ IWB offers functionality and economy.

Featuring a reinforced thumb break retention strap, a modern injection-molded nylon J-clip locks the holster onto the belt. The Waistband holster carries the handgun in a vertical orientation, with no cant or angle, so it can be used in the traditional strong side position or in front of the hip (appendix carry). Constructed of premium center cut steerhide, the Waistband fits belts up to 13/4".

Made for semiautomatic pistols and double-action revolvers, the Waistband is available in right or left hand designs in black or natural finish.

This is now the best one.
In 1984 I bought a Galco pancake holster, for my Smith & Wesson Model 66 K frame. I didn't think that I would like the inside the waistband but I gave it a try and now it just replaced my Galco pancake holster from 1984 to use as a spare. Great quality great service great company great products

The best!!!
For the money, you can NOT get any better than Galco. As a tanker in the Army I carried an M9 and used a Galco holster on four deployments and endless training exercises – never once did it let me down. I now use one for an EDC .357, a .38 Spl, gov’t 1911 and as of writing this, an Officers 1911. The leather breaks in so nicely – read the instructions before you begin what you assume is correct. These will last a lifetime.

Waistband IWB holster
Holster is well made. The leather is thin enough for concealment. The J hook is easy to take of and on over the belt. It holds the holster down nicely. The retention strap on a J frame will only fit on standard grips which are not too thick. The one for the Beretta 85 and Stoeger STR -9 fit perfectly. Very nice holster since I own 3 of them.
