Description

An evolution of Galco’s popular Wraith™ belt holster, the Wraith 2.0™ combines features from the existing Paddle Lite™ and BlakGuard™ models – along with four patent-pending innovations – to create a highly versatile and concealable multipurpose holster.

Combining the best properties of Premium Center Cut Steerhide™ and injection-molded plastic, the Wraith 2.0 includes a "trench" style sight rail that easily accommodates most suppressor sights and allows easy, efficient return to the holster. A reinforced thumb-break retention strap provides secure retention with a fast draw, while the modern layout is designed to accommodate most carry-style optical sights.

The Wraith 2.0’s versatility derives from its included twin attachment methods – an adjustable belt slot and a paddle – that are quickly and easily interchangeable by the end user. A flat-headed screwdriver is the only tool needed to swap one attachment for the other, giving the gun carrier the choice of two carry methods: the convenient paddle design or the stable and traditional belt slot.

Excellent Holster for Cocked and Locked 1911 Carry
I've had this holster for a couple weeks and already love it! The retention strap is specifically designed to fit between the cocked hammer and the rear end of the slide. The body side of the retention strap has a little guide rail that fits under the safety lever. I can only fully holster my 4" Kimber TLE-II if the hammer is cocked and the safety is engaged. I've never really felt good about cocked and locked carry (I usually carry a revolver instead). This holster makes me feel much more comfortable since the hammer is blocked and the safety must engage until you actually draw the weapon. Kudos to the holster designer(s)!

This holster checks all the boxes for me. It is snug and secure. Drawing my 1911 is as I expect it to be. The price of this holster is comparable (slightly less than) a name-brand holster I considered in the store where I bought I bought my pistol. The Wraith 2 is more versatile by far. I rated it a 4 ONLY because I’ve had it just three weeks. In my opinion, something deserves a 5 if it has stood the test of time. That said, I am well satisfied with my purchase of GALCO’s Wraith 2 holster.

Awesome in Paddle mode
I carry a Para Expert with competition trigger. Very light trigger. Wanted a holster that I could carry cocked with one in the chamber and still feel secure. This holster allows that. I was worried about how high the holster would ride, but in paddle mode it is just about perfect. In future models, GALCO should allow for a slight cant to the holster. But overall I love it.
