The Big Iron Belt-Drop is an optional companion part for the Big Iron™ and Speed Master™ 2.0 holsters. By lowering the holster on the hip, the Belt-Drop can accomplish several things. It can increase the speed of the draw, sit clear of equipment ranging from rain gear to body armor, ride below a backpack’s waist straps, and make the draw easier for short-waisted and/or female shooters.
A .035” steel center is sandwiched between two pieces of saddle leather. The Drop has two snaps that allow attachment without removing the belt.
The Belt-Drop attaches to the Big Iron and Speed Master 2.0 holsters with three provided screws. Fits belts up to 1 ¾” wide.

Belt drop
I love it. It puts my GP100 at the perfect height. I am going to get one for my 1911.

drop down for python holster
my normal everyday belt is 1 3/4 " and the loop on the python holster only took a 1 1/2 ". drop down works with 1 3/4" pits it at right spot for draw. excellent leather work too.

Holster Drop
2nd one I’ve bought, and I love it! Use it with my revolver and 1911. Adds perfect drop to holster, is sturdy, and easy off and on… what not to like!
