Description
    The DAO™ can be worn strong side or crossdraw at the user’s discretion. The holster employs a retention strap for simplicity and security in the brush. The retention strap has a large polymer tab to aid in snapping and unsnapping with a gloved hand. Tension screw adjustments allow for a custom fit to your revolver.
    Available in tan, black (select fits) and havana brown (select fits). Constructed of premium steerhide, the DAO fits belts up to 1 3/4".

Look no further
I own all the Ruger Super Redhawk hand cannons. I wanted one holster that I could carry any of them. This holster is dead on. Open at the bottom, so any barrel length from 7.5 down to the Alaskan fits perfect. Quality is excellent. Fit is perfect.

Excellent holster
The quality and craftsmanship is excellent. I would not hesitate to purchase another Galco holster or belt. 4 stars only because the strap is NOT long enough to fit over the hammer of my S&W model 19 357 Magnum 4" barrel that was custom built by S&W custom shop in 1978 for the Kentucky state police, commemoration for 30 yrs of service as it is stamped in gold 1948-1978. Has never been fired and came with the box, cleaning kit, manual and custom build information. Keeping the holster for another revolver I have and will contact Galco about another holster for my model 19.
