This exceptional sportsman’s holster can be used strong side or crossdraw at the user’s discretion.

The Phoenix™ features stitched sight rails to protect both leather and sights, reinforced thumb break with covered snap for security in the brush and a swift draw, and tension screw adjustment for a custom fit to your handgun.

Constructed of premium steerhide with silicone suede lining, the Dual Position Phoenix fits belts up to 1 3/4".

Made for 1911 pistols and double-action revolvers, the Dual Position Phoenix is available in right and left hand designs in black or tan.

perfect for the 629
This holster is a great fit and compliment to my 629. No needed retention adjustments. Great looking and am sure many years to come on usage. Thanks for a great product

I will go Galco 100% of the time now
For my purposes the PHOENIX STRONGSIDE/CROSSDRAW BELT HOLSTER was the most fitting holster for my use and is what I consider a top-tier holster from Galco. It fits m 2020 Colt Python with 4.25" barrel nicely. I had to adjust the tensioning screws so the barrel did not stick out the end, I love that feature. It is contoured perfectly for my Python straight out of the box. I did put my gun in the holster between my mattress and box spring to fit it like a baseball glove. The inner soft leather protects my stainless steel Python from getting marred over time. Thanks Galco, I will be back for holsters for my Glocks next! :)

Phoenix holster
Great fit to the gun (S&W 686 and Ruger GP100 MC), great quality leather and workmanship, secure feel.
Use for hunting/hiking, range carry and OC where ok. Always comfortable and secure, easy access. Probs to big for Conceal carry but that is factor of the revolver not the holster.
