Description
Compact, concealable, secure and versatile, the open-muzzle design of the Silhouette™ makes it a favorite of gun carriers who own multiple barrel lengths of the same firearm model.
Hand-molded to fit specific handgun frames, the Silhouette features a reinforced thumb break for security, firing grip accessibility for speed, double-stitched seams for durability, and covered trigger for safety. The retention strap configuration is specific to individual firearms types, and varies depending on firearm model. The high riding Silhouette holster is constructed of premium steerhide and is made to fit belts up to 1 3/4".
Its unique two-piece construction is contoured on the body side to the natural curve of the hip, keeping all the molding on the front of the holster, allowing for significantly more comfortable carry and a narrower profile than an ordinary pancake type holster. Made for semiautomatic pistols, the Silhouette is available in right or left hand designs in tan or black finish.

Silhouette High Ride Holster
I bought this for a S&W 629 Deluxe 3" bbl. Fit is perfect, rides close and high and is comfortable.

686+ (3-5-7 Series) with 5 inch barrel
Site says it fits the 686 Plus with 4.15 inch barrel. It fits the 5 inch barrel just as well. Almost no break in required. Looks greats. Very easy to draw from and reholster.

City holster for the Ruger SRH Alaskan
NOT an authorized use for the S&W 327 Nighthawk holster, but who makes a high ride for the Ruger?A testimony to the GALCO holster, that it could take a 2.5" Super Redhawk being crammed into it using GALCO break-in procedure, and work very well.
Most holsters made for the Alaskan are chest/crossdraw rigs for hiking/fishing/hunting, or pancakes the size of a kidney belt, but I wanted a holster to carry the Alaskan concealed under untucked shirt in warm weather, so that it went more places.
This works just fine, a bloody miracle and a fine fine holster.
