Description
Compact, concealable, secure and versatile, the open-muzzle design of the Silhouette™ makes it a favorite of gun carriers who own multiple barrel lengths of the same firearm model.
Hand-molded to fit specific handgun frames, the Silhouette features a reinforced thumb break for security, firing grip accessibility for speed, double-stitched seams for durability, and covered trigger for safety. The retention strap configuration is specific to individual firearms types, and varies depending on firearm model. The high riding Silhouette holster is constructed of premium steerhide and is made to fit belts up to 1 3/4".
Its unique two-piece construction is contoured on the body side to the natural curve of the hip, keeping all the molding on the front of the holster, allowing for significantly more comfortable carry and a narrower profile than an ordinary pancake type holster. Made for semiautomatic pistols and double-action revolvers, the Silhouette is available in right or left hand designs in tan or black finish.

Most comfortable belt holster ever.
I bought a Glock 29 10MM, and none of my holsters fit it. I turned to Galco, of course. I wanted an outside the waist. I selected the Sihoulette High Rise. The most comfortable holster ever and not very conspicuous, even with open carry. It also looks nice. One negative about it is that it does leave a signature outline, so I don't recommend it for conceal carry, but then, it's not meant for that. Another, more serious one is that I haven't (as of yet) been able to withdraw it single handed. I have to use my non-dominant hand to hold the holster. But that being done, my handgun can be withdrawn and fired in 2.5 seconds, which is good enough. And that makes for great retention. If someone were to try to pull it out, you could respond before he was successful. So even the negative has a positive aspect.

Best holster
I have always loved leather holsters. This is by far the best quality I have seen. It’s craftsmanship was excellent, and a nice fit to my Springfield XD 45 5â€. I would highly recommend this holster.
