Description
Compact, concealable, secure and versatile, the open-muzzle design of the Silhouette™ makes it a favorite of gun carriers who own multiple barrel lengths of the same firearm model.
Hand-molded to fit specific handgun frames, the Silhouette features a reinforced thumb break for security, firing grip accessibility for speed, double-stitched seams for durability, and covered trigger for safety. The retention strap configuration is specific to individual firearms types, and varies depending on firearm model. The high riding Silhouette holster is constructed of premium steerhide and is made to fit belts up to 1 3/4".
Its unique two-piece construction is contoured on the body side to the natural curve of the hip, keeping all the molding on the front of the holster, allowing for significantly more comfortable carry and a narrower profile than an ordinary pancake type holster. Made for semiautomatic pistols, the Silhouette is available in right or left hand designs in tan or black finish.

Silhouette Hi Ride Holster
I am very happy with my purchase. The fit and finish is excellent. I’ve only worn it a few times, so the holster is a little stiff, which is to be expected. It’s amazing how well it hides a big revolver. I’m 6ft/200lbs and my S&W 625 with a 5in barrel disappears under a loose, long sleeve tee shirt. I highly recommend this holster to anyone who wants to carry a big gun with minimal cover garments.

Perfect for my Sig 1911 Carry Commander
I wanted to find a high ride holster that tucks really close to the body. For most of my retired KCSO Sheriff’s Deputy and cattle ranching duties, an outside the waistband holster for my Sig 1911 Emperor Scorpion Carry Commander suits me best. I often find myself leaving the stock pens on our North Idaho cattle ranch after checking the beeves and heading directly to Mass. it’s important to have a rugged accessible OWB holster while on the ranch but one that tucks in close to blend out of sight while shopping in town or at church for security duties. Winter or summer!! Over 30+ years of EDC and carrying everything from S&W 629’s to G20’s and G21’s to XDM’s on duty to Springfield TRP Operator 10mm’s to my favorites: cocked and locked 1911’s in .45 or 10mm, I’ve used myriad kydex holsters, heavy cowhide holsters and cheap flimsy leather holsters. All have let me down. Until now. This Galco high-ride holster is tough and durable enough to support, hide and facilitate consistent and rapid deployment of heavy 1911 pistols. It is my EDC rig!!! It is slim but strong in design and engineering….not just finding its support in multiple bulky layers of cowhide. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth the price!!!
