Description
Initially introduced in 2003, the SSS has been updated based on Galco’s experience and market feedback in the intervening years.
Constructed of premium steerhide, the improved Side Snap Scabbard retains the quick on-off snap loops that fit belts up to 1 1/2”. The open top design remains the same, with the addition of a reinforced mouth for smooth and easy one-handed return to the holster. New to the SSS is a slight butt-forward cant, in contrast to the steeper angle of the earlier version. It keeps the adjustable tension unit and the comfortable, highly concealable forward-molded design of its predecessor, while adding a raised sweat guard to protect both the firearm and the gun carrier. Taken together, these features add up to a holster that is secure and convenient yet concealable with a very fast draw!
The improved Side Snap Scabbard is offered for right or left hand draw in black color.

Another Quality Holster!
This is my third SSS and my fourth Galco holster. I just love the quality of the leather, the workmanship and the service. I remember buying my first waistband holster and calling about fit. I was treated excellent and the tips they gave me to subtly stretch the leather were great and I've used them ever since. This is a great company run by great people. I'm slowly replacing my Bianchi's with Galco's leather. Man, I love this company. Can't say enough good about them and the products!

Galco =Quality
The sss side snap scabbard holster was not my first Galco holster I have purchased and as before the product is as advertised. Great looks and great fit I would recommend it and any of the other product lines. Quick turnaround for a quality product.

SSS Gen 2
This is my first holster purchased from GALCO. Purchased the SSS Gen2 for my Sig P227. Delivered less than a week from order. Perfect fit after a relatively short break-in period and using tension screw. Quality product, reasonably priced without long lead time for a custom made holster. I will purchase from GALCO for other firearms.
