Description
The Galco Waistband™ IWB offers functionality and economy.

Featuring a reinforced thumb break retention strap, a modern injection-molded nylon J-clip locks the holster onto the belt. The Waistband holster carries the handgun in a vertical orientation, with no cant or angle, so it can be used in the traditional strong side position or in front of the hip (appendix carry). Constructed of premium center cut steerhide, the Waistband fits belts up to 13/4".

Made for semiautomatic pistols and double-action revolvers, the Waistband is available in right or left hand designs in black or natural finish.

Review for WAISTBAND IWB HOLSTER
(4.0 out of 5)
Concealing a Glock 30
I use this for a Glock 30, which is already difficult to conceal. Contrary to the other review, the leather on my holster is very soft and pliable. That's great for the lower part of the gun, but it makes the thumb break a bit of a pain to snap off, which is annoying during an altercation where every second counts. That said, the belt connector has a C shape on the lower end so the holster has very little chance of coming off your belt unintentionally. My job encourages me to carry concealed but we get into a lot more fist fights than we do gunfights, so it's nice that it's secure. It's also cheap. If the leather connecting the thumb break had a little more rigidity to it and it were a little more comfortable, I'd rate 5 stars. The other drawbacks I haven't mentioned (difficulty concealing appendix, pressing into my side when sitting) are due to the model of firearm I've chosen, not the holster.

I'd recommend it for concealed carry where you're also worried about weapon retention.
